Leading the team at DPS is Mr. Dhirendra Sangoi, the Managing Partner, who has been practicing Chartered Accountancy for more than 39 years and is at the helm the firm since its inception. He leads the Direct tax, Company Law, Audit & Assurance vertical and specializes in advisory as well as litigation practice.
Mr. Sangoi has advised various clients on business structuring leading to optimal tax structures. His experience and knowledge on various commercial and real estate laws coupled with his business acumen gives him a cutting edge, which has been highly appreciated by the clients.
Mr. Sangoi has been the President of CVO CA & Cost Accountants Association for the year 1995-96. He has also been associated with various social initiatives such as Trusteeship in NGO’s - Shree Aath Koti Naani Paksh Sakal Sangh and Sadau Jain Sangh.
He heads the Indirect tax space at DPS and his areas of functional expertise include GST, Customs, Excise, Service tax, Central Sales tax, state Vat laws and Foreign Trade policy. Shreyas is the “Accredited GST Trainer” with National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN), Ministry of Finance.
Having the experience working in a Tier-1 law firm, he brings to the table, rich experience in handling matters related to Indirect tax, in both advisory and litigation domain. He has been involved in advising various MNC’s and Indian Conglomerates in sectors like manufacturing, financial services, entertainment, logistics, Information technology, power, gems and jewellery, real estate and infrastructure projects. He has also been involved in making representations to the Ministry of Finance and the State Governments in relation to various tax policy matters.
Shreyas is presently the Indirect Tax Committee member of Western Indian Regional Council of ICAI, Chamber of Tax Consultants and Bombay Chartered Accountants Society.
He is the Direct Tax Partner at DPS and is a qualified member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He oversees the tax advisory, international taxation and litigation support services of the firm. His areas of expertise include Income Tax, Wealth Tax, FEMA, Transfer Pricing regulations and Black Money (Undisclosed income and assets) laws.
He has rich experience of advising and working with Corporate’s, PSU’s, Private Equity Funds, Law firms, Charitable Institutions, in various sectors. He has also been advising clients on search & seizure proceedings as well as Tax due diligence services for proposed, mergers, acquisitions etc. His international tax experience involves providing advisory on taxation of Cross border payments such as the Withholding tax applicability, PE Constitution, attribution of profits to PE, taxability of EPC contracts and advising on inbound & outbound investments.
Currently, Vishesh is the Direct Taxation Committee member of Bombay Chartered Accountants Society and CVO CA Association.
CA Nilesh Gada is the service line partner at DPS in the areas of Direct Tax and VAT laws. Having been associated with DPS since more than 21 years, he knows DPS clients, their background, their requirements and importantly their facts and numbers like the back of his hand. CA Nilesh Gada possesses hands on experience and a proven track record, in handling assignments which are time bound and involve voluminous paper work / data such as formation of various entities, assignments related to ROF and charitable trust, computation of tax and filing of returns.
CA Mittal Gala is the operations head at DPS. From an article trainee in 2007 to being inducted as a Partner in 2016, she has seen it all and done it all, in her 13 year term at DPS. Her core competencies are in the areas of Audit and Assurance services, Company law matters, Due Diligence and Certification services.
She is in charge of audit and assurance team at DPS which handles various statutory, tax, internal and concurrent audits in varied industries, which ensure due compliance and critical risk mitigation. She has also been advising clients on Company law matters such as ROC and XBRL compliances.
